Hi ladies and gents, I am posting this question both here and on MT in the hope of maybe getting a better response
I am trying to find a written record of the freestyle maneuvers for personal reference either here in cyberspace or in book form.
If anybody knows of where I can find it please let me know.

How many actually practice the freestyle techniques listed? If you do drill the freestyle techniques how much value do you get out of them?
I don't personally practice the freestyle moves, but I think the concept is nice of teaching how to do combination shots.
Some of the ones Ive seen are on some serious crack tho ;)
Yeah I agree some of them are a bit strange, and awkward feeling. I like the way most are where you just keep going, running over the 'dummy', so many people stop after the first strike lands. I think they would have the most value if the 'dummy' were to counter just a bit. It would help teach spontaneity and to keep going in if you miss one strike.
Some have the feel to them that they are there to keep the kids amused. I notice the ones they like the most seem to be the least practical to me. But they love the spinning kicks and whatnot :)
With so many more people here now, I think it is time to revisit this topic.
I'd never even heard of them untill I read "Infinite Insights." I asked my instructor at the time and he was like, "Oh yeah...we don't really do those." :D I understand some schools require them for testing but we never really got into them much. We do drills to help with free sparring but nothing like those. We usually focus on things like feinting, bobbing, weaving, set-ups, entries, and follow ups.
I personally wanted investigate them further and play around with the differnet combo's a bit, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. =)
