hello
everyone, well i took my yellow belt test with my son, i can't believe how draining it felt i thought we was going to go over just the moves and short form, but we went through all the punches we practice all the kicks, balance test it was so strenght draining, but i passed my sensei said i look like i live and breath kenpo karate, my son almost failed because he kept looking at the sensei, sensei gave him to warnings, he said you look at me one more time i will have to fail you but he did well for a 7 year old and passed, so I DID IT!!![]()

THAT IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't know that you were in it with your son! That's also great! I'm very happy for you and glad that you had a good experience. My belt tests are one of my most memorable and meaningful LESSONS in Kenpo!
I suggest journaling your thoughts, memories and goals directly after a test and looking back on it regularly.

this is how i felt when i passed the test lol, yea im going to start and write my experience's down, so far i know the first 4 of orange tech's, oh yea i had my sensei laughing, because during the test he asked me and my son if you had to take the test again would you? i said yea, but it was kind of a trick question for me, yes i would do it again cause i dont want to give up, but then no because i felt i did the test righti chose yes he said i chose wisely.
