Sounds great on both counts.
Today, my former instructor opened a new school. I heard about it from a friend on myspace.
He had Tatum out for a free seminar and I went. I brought a card to congratulate him.
For those of you who have been on here awhile, you might remember some of the drama that I won't go into again.
Suffice it to say that I decided it would be best to break the ice and bury the hatchet.
My former instructor and I were a little stilted, but it wasn't horribly uncomfortable. The seminar was fun. Tatum, for some reason, seemed to have forgotten who I was. lol.
Still, better to go and get that uncomfortableness out of the way.
Just thought I'd share.

Amy, you've got guts, gal. People, even senior martial artists, are still people. We can be a petty lott sometimes, and old feelings or percieved hurts can be difficult to overcome and move on from. Hope you find some kind of closure here, hopefully even healing. Tatum and Speakman are two good lines, and both could bennifit from association and shareing with each other instead of bickering or just isolationism. Good luck.

Good for you Amy! Sounds like a good time and it took some guts to do what you did.

Glad to hear about trying to make amends. How was the seminar? Did you pick up anything new? Maybe strengthen something you already knew? C'mon,give,give...

Greetings!
I hope it was a "growth"-type experience instead of an just uncomfy one.
As I said in another post, many falling outs can be mended in time.
Sometimes, the right time just appears...
Keep going strong.
