    Default Savate

What does everyone think of Savate? We started adding in Savate Kicking in our classes. We found alot of our students are used to TKD and we wanted to sway them away from it, but still keep impressive kicking. On personnal notes TKD is an overrated art. Savate has awesome kicks. Anyone else into Savate?

I have an interest but the websites I have found have been of poor quality. I have not been able to find good information. I'll keep an eye on this thread and try to learn something!

Some of what I've seen is a little too sport-oriented for me but the more "street-oriented" stuff is just brutal.

"Old Shoe" eh? I have always been curious but I have no personal knowledge of French Foot-Fighting.

I will hit You-Tube when I get home from work...

The above is just my opinion.
