Well, Gang... I went to one of the local video stores today... hoping to find a few tapes (they're selling old rental 10 for $20) or DVD's (3 for $21) to add to my collection...
TRANSLATION: I've seen everything that I have a MILLION times... well, OK... maybe only 500K. Plus, I wanted to buy myself something... to kind of pick my mood up some...
Anywho... a few of my all-time favorite MA flicks are Best Of The Best, Fist Of Legend, and Above The Law... not to mention a gazillion others...
SO... what DVD's did I find at the store today???
Best Of The Best (YES!)
Fist Of Legend (DOUBLE YES!) < This was actually VHS... but, WHO CARES!
Above The Law (YEAH, BABY! YEAH!)
AND... Twin Dragons (Li AND Yeoh? WOW!!!)
So... VIDEO JACKPOT!
I've already watched FOL, just finished, BOTB... and plan on watching at least TW before the night is over...
The video Gods have smiled upon me... life is GOOD!

P.S. I never knew until today that Dae Han was actuallly played by Phillip Rhee's (Tommy's) real life brother Simon Rhee!

Alot of classic MA movies , good find!
I liked that movie too ... James Lew also plays a guy on the Korean team. He is actually a famous kung fu guy and also chinese, lol.

James also played in The Perect Weapon with Mr. Speakman...
He's the one (if I recall correctly) who, in the dojang fight scene, utters the immortal word, "Let's see what you've got, White Boy!"
BOTB has some top-notch TKD in it...

I have all those except "Best of the Best." I'll probably catch some flak for this, but I never really liked that movie much.LOL.
Great finds!![]()

Wow, really? BOTB is like the first and only karate movie that made me thing it was okay for grown men to cry... plus it inspired some kicking techniques in me.![]()
By the way, I last saw Simon Rhee in a Cap'n Crunch commercial, talking about "crunch-itize me, Cap'n!"
"Your kung fu's no good..."
