Default Financial software - what do you use for your martial arts school?

What kind of software do you use to handle your school's finances? How user-friendly is it? Why do you prefer that software? Any others that you dislike and why?

    Thanks!

I have never used financial software for running my school. I only had a small self designed database that had spots ofr tuition amount, payment date, whether they paid, next test date, rank and name ofcourse.

For the finances such as paying the bills and such I used an old fashioned ledger.

I talked to others. There were some who prefer Quickbooks, others prefer Peachtree. Pros and cons anyone? What about other software?

I don't mind doing things the old fashioned ledger way (that's how I used to do the bookkeeping), but people are saying that more can be done with software.

I guess it would all depend on the size of the school. If you are less than 100 students I would doing things the old fashioned way, along with data bases for tracking attendance, belt promotions and and marketing plans. Anymore than 100 students and I would go with software designed for martial arts schools.
