    Funny thread; lousy vids.

    I responded to this fellow for abhorrent feet in a vid he posted on an FB kenpo page, and some doof from the east coast decided to jump *me* for being hypercritical! Said I was everything that's wrong in kenpo. Me. I would have thought it was gawd-awful 10th-degrees who can't hit a stance or use their bodies or move with authority or...or...or... But it was little old me.

    Just glad to see I ain't the only skeptical curmudgeon left in the old guard. Kumbaya has its place, and combative arts isn't it.
    Clear mind, clear movement. Mastery of the Arts is mastery over the Self. That in this moment, this motion, the thoughts, memories, impulses and passions that cloud the mind must yield to the clarity of purpose, and purity of motion.
