Default What is your "Workout Routine"

What is your "Routine"? How do you work around or with kenpo in your quest to hone your body? What kind of results do you get?

    Mine?

    Sundays:
    Chest/Tri's Superset both groups
    Mondays:
    Kenpo
    Tues:
    Back/Bi's Superset both groups
    Weds:
    Off
    Thurs:
    Squats/Calf Raises/Kenpo
    Fri:Off
    Sat:
    Kenpo

I work about every major muscle group once a week and I feel it keeps a decent amount of mass/definition. About the only thing I suppliment with is Whey Protien and vitamins when I remember lol.

Yeah, I quit the free weights a few years ago. I try to get 4 good workouts in a week outside of practicing Kenpo.

My workouts usually consist of calesthenics: Knuckle push ups, V-ups, crunches, pull-ups, hindu squats, and sit ups. I also "work the bag" with weighted gloves and ankle weights. The only other gear I use is a chin up bar and a medicine ball (for sit ups.)

We have a new student that's really gung-ho and comes from a TKD background. We're supposed to start free sparring before class. That should help my cardio some. I've considered taking up hill sprints again but that depends on what my Doc says.

I just do a LOT of Kenpo, a lot of pushups, and sparring for endurance.

I particularly like doing my Kenpo full-out in the sun, now that the weather is so nice. It forces me to drink a lot of water, instead of diet pop.

HAHAHA I have a bad "diet pop" habit too! I used to drink a TON of water when I was in the army out of need (out in the sun working like you said) and spending most of my time in a car or at a desk writing reports I have to almost "force" myself to hydrate. Nothing wrong with the front-leaning rest position! Push ups are great!

I run 3-4 times a week, and when at home i will do sets of pushups usually 30-50 and crunches same amount of repititions.
And i go to Muay Thai 4-5 times a week for two hours. I was
very into free weights and wuch, but i found that calestenics still keep
me looking good, also i still eat alot of protein guess its just a habit.

I told my wife I would do 10 knuckle pushups (Hardwood floor ) every time a "certain" political ad comes on the TV or its opposition's ad- tiring!

Oh yeah and I am looking for a job- LOL

Yes, married and with kids. The bike rides are generally together, however I do sneak out on my own for the longer rides.

The weight lifting is done on my lunch hour. I get in... 30 - 40 minutes then I'm out.
