Default Belt test & Seminar with Paul Dye

Last Friday was Belt Test Night at our school, and although there weren't that many people testing this month, it was a great night.

I was in the group testing that night and got promoted to blue belt.

I think I did alright, but again, I am my worse critique so... my instructors were very happy of my performance in the test.

I got to make mention of my fellow students! They all did awesome. J*** was going for his yellow belt and did a very good job if you ask me. So did the yellow belt going for orange! I was especially impresses with Ms. X as she was very very nervous about this test. I was proud of everyone that night, including the little dragon that handled themselves very well and did a traffic job!

This past week-end was also Seminar with Paul Dye! I kept hearing about him but wasn't there the last time he came to our school. Although I couldn't make it for Saturday class, I was there Monday night and enjoy every single minute of it. The intensity he brings to his techniques is really fantastic and his obvious passion for teaching and the art is truly contagious! His wife was present too and helped us out. They were a joy to have at our school and I hope to see them again in the future!

I have had the pleasure of working with Paul Dye on a couple of occasions. The guy is simply awesome, hits like a truck, and will talk to you about Kenpo for hours!

Glad you had a great time.

    Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Yes Mr. Seabrook, Mr. Dye is really amazing ! He was present at our test Friday night and for some reasons although I never met him before, it made me even more nervous than I usually am.

    His seminar was really interesting.
