Default will miss my friend Steve Armstrong

We knew Master Steve Armstrong through his long assocaiotn and Friendship With SGM Ed Parker. When we moved to the northwest I looked him up. He accepted us immediately as friends Of Grandmaster Parker.. I visited his school often. He was at that time a major tournament promoter and put on several a year. He had a lot of medical problems and rapidly went down hill. He required brain surgery and never ever completely recovered from that. Mr. Parker came up and ran his Seattle Open tournament when he was recovering. He pretty much lost most of his memory and couldn't recall things. He did however have some long term memory and could remember things from the distant past. He did always Remember SGM Parker . My Isshinryu friends and I often visited him at the veterens home. We often took some of our people to do Kata for him. He enjoyed that a lot. He was confined to a wheelchair and could no longer do it. He always asked me about SGM Parker and I had to tell him again that he was no longer with us. His mind didn't accept that his friend was gone.
We shall miss this great Karate Pioneer iin the Northwest. He had one of the first schools in the Northwest, put on the first tournaments and taught us all so much. He was always a good friend to Kenpo.

    Respectfully,
    Sifuroy

Thank you for letting us know.
I knew Steve Armstrong back in the 70's when I did much tournament competition in the Northwest.
