    Default The Sunday Kenpo Challenge

    “The Sunday Kenpo Challenge”, will continue next Sunday Apr[l 19th 12:00-1:30. Let’s find out who really wants to train. We are extending an invitation to all kenpo practitioners here in the Orange County area as well as our own students. Please check with your instructor and seek their ok. Your investment will be $25 and you must be a purple belt or above. I can promise you a tremendous workout doing your basics and self defense techniques with partners. Cups and mouthpieces are suggested.
    This will be workout that will advance your education and develop a sense of pride in that you working to take your art to another level. This class is for people that are serious about their training and do not want to settle for mediocrity.
    It is my desire to make attending this class something to be proud of.

    Notice that I did not say the class would cost $25. I wrote that there is a $25 INVESTMENT. I learned that from Mr. Parker over 47 years ago. Cost is an expense and an investment pays dividends as time goes on. This educational opportunity is a great example of that.

    Seems like a low risk, high reward investment at that.
    Be careful what you say, some may take it the wrong way.

    I'm sorry I have been slow to respond, I just saw this question. To answer, I was very pleased. We had some men and women that came to train. I was also very proud of our front row. We had 4th and 5th degrees that were pace setters for the workout. Virgil Bartolomucci, who is a 5th and also just turned 68 years old helped set the bar. This was a very physical class and I am very pleased with the overall condition of our athletes. They know what is expected of them and they came prepared.
