Well done for an 8 yr old. Most adults (some well known black belts as well) who post on youtube can't do it that well.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone that young perform that form. She did a better job than some adults I've seen.

At any rate, you have several reasons to be proud of her. You may have a prodigy on your hands!

My monitor is a little old so the color is a little off but it appears she's a black belt. Am I correct?

I am thoroughly impressed! The form looked GOOD! I am not impressed by most forms I see performed by people but I was in awe of the precision and good technique/form.

Thankyou to the members that have commented and we appreciate your encouragement.

Kenpo / martial arts is relative small here in Australia compared to the U.S.A and other parts of the world, Youtube is a fantastic tool to bring us much closer together dispite the distance between us.

Recently we were surfing the net and found very little when it come to junior student displaying the art.

As Taylah said to me, Its great to see the Masters and Senior Blackbelts dispalying their skilks which is fantastic and inspiring, but very little of junior students displaying the Art,

Hence with that in mind, over the past few weeks we have put a series of clips together hopefully to inspire and encourage others.

"The juniors of Today are the Seniors of Tomorrow"

    Regards Damien

    Hi DocWolfe,

Taylah is not a blackbelt, rather a junior brown belt with an amended syllabus.

    Cheers

Wow! Eight years old? Very impressive. There are a couple of things that could be improved on but at this point, it would be quibbling over the details. Nicely done!
Be careful what you say, some may take it the wrong way.
