    Hi Rob,

    I've seen this clip before, I believe, on your website.

    In your version of it, do you teach it with the neutral to forward back to neutral in the base part of the technique? I didn't see it, so I wasn't sure if you had a different version.

    Yep the forward bow must be there to stop the forward momentum of the attacker and help provide a bracing angle when you deliver the palm heel strike. Of course this happens at the same time to provide proper alignments with your shoulder, elbow, hip and knee etc.
