A take off of Thundering Hammers?

Are you using a fitted weapon with the slip and first strike?

yeah....it is a good technique against a boxer. After the strikes you still have your knees and kicks.

Is your left hand doing a type of upward check while you slip? Would you mind writing a brief description of the technique? Thanks.

    Ok..

This technique is one that works against a commited attack. Once the round house is launched, it must go to it's target. With the above in mind, this technique involves and leverages timing and perceptual speed.

From a fighting stance left foot forward
    1. Hands are up, elbows in!
    2. Yes there is a left check as
    3. you slip the punch by bending your knees(left modified closed kneel stance) and keeping your back straight--this is important!!
    4. As the punch passes, execute a right ridge hand to the groing and or punch to the stomach (your opponent is bent over and can not tighten his abdominal muscles at this point). Thus, he is very vulnerable at this point.
    5. Rise up and unleash hell.

It kind of looks like a mix of Dance of Death and Thundering Hammers with a "twist".

I love step number five though LOL.

yeah it does sound kind of cool.....try the technique as a drill..going slow at first and then speeding up when you feel more comfortable.....

I would add a slap or hammer to the bladder meridian (along the inner edge of the right scapula) with the left just before the strike to the back of the neck.
