I'd like to take the time to thank R.S. Mitchell and the folks at Mitchell's Martial Arts (http://www.mitchellsmartialarts.com) for having me down to do a seminar this weekend. It was an honor and a pleasure. If anyone is ever on the eastern shore of Maryland in or near Salisbury check out Mitchell's Martial Arts for a group of good kenpoists and more importantly good people. Below are some clips of the seminar I'd like to share. I'd also like to thank my Big brothers Jesse Jackson and Marcus Bookman for donating their bodies to "Kenpo Science" at the seminar.

James;
In the second part of the seminar, your comparing gift of distruction to a single arm takedown. How did you manipulate Marcus hand?

I used a "small circle" thumb lock to drop him. I used my thumb and the first knuckle of my right pointer finger to pinch is thumb and lock it straight. I then leveraged his thumb down hyperextending it and making him fall. After that I pulled his arm to my right with my right hand while using my left hand to push his elbow. This caused the arm drag. My right arm then tracked his right arm to his neck for the rest of the manipulation.

as usual your clips really amaze and make ppl thinkaltho i prolly wouldnt have gone to the seminar, (rival schools and all), it woulda been nice if i knew you were in town. we coulda grabbed a beer and talked theory..
i liked that "referance point" concept.. thats what iv always refered to as phrasing.. because in martial arts, just like music and language, some phrases work well together naturally.
really dug that escape from 4:10-4:47
