    Default Form 6

I've been having a devil of a time getting form 6 on tape. Every time I tape it, the dvd gets messed up.

I finally got one to work. This was in Vegas and my left leg was humungous, as mentioned before, so this isn't my best clip, but it's okay. My stance on the second side of Twisted Rod (I think) is not how I like it to be. Too shallow. Here it is anyway.

JFarnsworth sent me a dvd of his stuff and with his permission, I'll put his up too.

thanks for sharing - I love this form - but it is one that everyone seems to have a slightly different take on seems very personalizable (a word??) - more so than the other forms. Have you seen these? From youtube,
    A Collado
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek6g-...ollado%20kenpo
    And someone else,

just for kicks, here's a guy doing form 5 - interesting,

form 5 is another that seems very different whoever is doing it...

I couldn't get the first one to load, but I watched the second guy, Josh, and wow.

I was afraid I was doing my kata too fast, but dang, this guy moves REALLY fast. It's hard to even see what he's doing.

    It's crisp though. Wow.

That Angelo Collado can really rip through forms. Quite inspiring.

I liked the Long Form 6. Josh moved well.

Long Form 5 was also very well done for such a young guy. I noticed his kicks were rather high doing the Dance of Death extension....I am assuming his instructor modified that technique for tournament purposes. If not, he would have been kicking the air since the opponent is laying on his chest during the extension.

Ba de ba de thats all folks. There are a few transitions that I have seen differently.

    Hehe. I was there! :P

I think I mentioned this but...

    1. you rock
    2. you waste about zero motion
    3. almost tooooo compact with some of your moves... wondering if you're getting full range on some of your strikes

you're still the only person i know that works that form at least 3-4 times a week. too awesome - I AM NOT BIASED!... well even if I am.. it is still true.

    Hi David,

Could you be more specific? People have been surprisingly quiet about this kata posted, which makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Do you have any specific comments? I know my stances aren't as low as I normally would like, but my leg didn't bend very well that day.
