Default The rest of the katas

I thought I'd give it a shot to put up the rest. Hopefully, they will load faster. These are the rest of the color katas, except for 1. The maximum was 5 and I have 6.

    One to come.

    ECELLENT!

You've been busy haven't you? I see a lot of familiar stuff in your forms. Nice execution! Now...if I can just figure out 1) how to view Robs stuff and 2) how to post my own...I'll be a happy Celt.

Check out the posts that tell about the ripping software and the converting software. The converting stuff is good. It's fast and seems to be pretty easy (thank you Camey!)

Thanks everyone. I just looked at the third brown one and it cut off the end of the kata.

    There's still another several techniques.

I had a heck of a time doing blue. I am used to practicing facing a straight line, if you know what I mean, and to make these with the mirror, I had to do them in an angle. It threw off all of my cues and I kept messing it up. I did it about 6 times before I could get through it. I had to do all the katas several times to get them right. Except the fours.

I was so tired by the time I got to the numbered katas that I guess I was finally warmed up. My brother teased me that you could see the increased sweat as the katas go on.

If you run more, you could last longer without getting tired.

I don't run at all. My knees won't take it. I was out for 6 months from June 2004 to around Dec. 2004 and then it was slow going coming back.

When I started in Dec. I couldn't even do a square horse. In Feb. 2005, I joined a gym and started on the stationary bike. 10 min. on a low level almost killed me. The video was in Sept.

Now I do 20 min. at a much higher level, another 25 of other cardio stuff, then start the karate portion of my workout, so I'm doing better. I dropped 10lbs too, which was good.

(Note the difference between June 2004 and Sept. 2005.)

I've been working my butt off for months, so I guess I'm feeling a little defensive.

That is excellent news not encluding you got hurt. It was just a thought. But being able to work out more and losing 10 lbs. is great. The first 10 is water weight after that is when you really start losing lbs.

Water weight -- my ass! I don't drink that much water.

If it were water weight, it would've come back by now, but it hasn't.

I'm testing in June and I'm determined to look better this time around than I did on the horrendous clip I posted. Ugh.

I'm pretty much tired all the time from working out, but my stuff is getting better. Oh, and I also have left leg lymphedema, so it weighs about 15+ lbs more than my right (the one that's hurt). I'm a mess, but I still love kenpo.

I am just saying that our body is made mostly of water and the first 10 lbs. we lose is actually water. After that it is usually easy to lose weight until you reach a plataue. THats when it slows down. Nutrition has two parts, if you want to lose wieght you must exrcise and eat right.

But you are doing just fine keep up the good work.

I was kidding. I do know about exercise and good health. No worries. I'm one of those people who doesn't put on weight easily, but it doesn't come off easily either.

I figure that as long as I get stronger and in better shape, then that's fine with me.

    Again, I was just kidding.

See this is one of the bad hings about talking to people over the internet. Unless they have like LOL or other things next to what they are saying you can never tell when they are mad and when not. Anyways it is good that you know about nutrition alot of people don't and that is where my major will come in handy when I graduate. Muhahahah.
