KMart and Sears bought into this crap as well. Looks like the American Corrupt Lawyers Union will get their wish some day....it is a pity. The attack on Christmas continues. Tell someone your protesting Ramadan (sp) and your a race hater...tell someone you love Christmas and your a religious fanatic. Man we live in bizzaro world sometimes.

We also live in an overly politicaly correct world.

That took guts to write Hunter, but I couldn't agree more.

Fortunately, I'm self-employed so I can wish people the merriest of Christmases without fear of reprisal.

My hubby worked for the State of CA and used to work for the county and they couldn't have a Christmas Potluck. Then someone complained about it being a holiday potluck until it became a 'oh, we just happened to have a pot luck around now' potluck.

    Really stupid.

Thatís what I often question. At what point in defending your rights do you lose the right to infringe on my rights.

I hate that America seems to have forgotten the principles that she was founded on.

Also wanted to add, well said Hunter

I always thought AK was a thinking practitioners art. Here is the reason for the boycot:
Bill Donohue says: "It's nice to know that Wal-Mart is closed on a federal holiday. Now here is why I am asking the leaders of 126 religious organizations that span seven religious communities to boycott Wal-Mart. Go to its website and search for Hanukkah and up come 200 items. Click on Kwanzaa and up come 77. Click on Christmas, and here's what you get: We've brought you to our "Holiday" page based on your search. In other words, Wal-Mart is practicing discrimination.
This was apparently an innocent mistake, and was corrected by Wal Mart. But, everyone wants to jump on the media bandwagon and bash Wal Mart, and, as usual, with no understanding what they are even mad about.

I hate political correctness. I'm proud to be American. I like our holidays, including Christmas. But I will not have those feelings, however strong, manipulated by an out of control and anti-American media! Boycot what you like, I'm shopping Wal Mart, and damn (in the most literal sense of the word) anyone who gets in my way!

It's simple common sense really. The holiday is not about getting gifts as much as the capitalist machine would like. It's a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ; a person that is near and dear to Christians. Look at the root word for cryin' out loud. CHRIST-mas. To not call it Christmas is simply.. well... It's stupid. And this is coming from someone who is NOT a devout CHRISTIAN!!

What's going to be attacked next? Martin Luther King Jr. Day? We better cancel that one or else we might offend the KKK! Or how about Valentines day? I'm sure all the hatemongers in the world hate that one (no pun intended). Can't have a holiday in support love!

We've become a nation of self-centered, irrational, hypersensitive cry-baby's. Get over it! If you don't like what's on TV change the channel! There's over 200 networks to choose from!!!

We have lots of Canadians here, what do you think? Do you guys have this garbage to deal with up North? What about any other posters in other countries?

    ...ridiculous.

I don't have enough time in my day to worry about who wants what said in their politically correct fashion. If I happen to say merry christmas, happy holidays, seasons greetings and it offends you.... Sorry. It'll just have to be lived with.
