I watch it all the time, LOL.
Some primal thing about it that appeals to me.

It makes me hungry.
I got the first season boxed set, will probably be ordering 2nd season soon.
I never knew just what it took to fish for crab. These guys really are a tough breed.
There was a similar short lived series, "Lobstermen" that only lasted 1 season. Not quite as exciting though.

didnt realise they were as a boxed set
been watching it on discovery they had a weekend of it last weekend really cool
i agree they are a breed of there own
they do something similar in the north of ireland think its just fish but same thing really they pay a lot i think it was something like 30 - 40 grand a season was considering it for a while until i saw this show hehe

Lobsterman sounds to much like a comic book villian ... Now the deadly lobsterman of the north east may have had better ratings![]()

I've watched a couple of episodes...
To me, the CAMERAMEN are even more nuts than the fisherman...
They had a behind the scenes on the show the other day, and I managed to catch it....jeez, talk about nutcases!
T.D.C. isn't my favorite, though...that's reserved for Dirty Jobs or Mythbusters...I like Man Vs. Wild, as well...

A good series. I dn't think most people know the hardships these Crab fisherman go through to bring Crab to your table.
