    Default Swimming Lessons anyone?

    Hey everyone--
I've had one HECK of a few days here.
Don't know if you've heard about it, but Kansas got slammed by about 5 days of horrible weather. The town of greensburg...straight West of my own City... got pretty much WIPED off the face of the Earth. I've got relatives there, their home and business are GONE, but they and theirs are OK....so thank God for that!
It rained a LOT for several days all across the state. My own basement (where my computer is) flooded badly...and now STINKS!!!!

We had a near-riot at my work this Monday and I had to intervene in a few fights. In one I had a resident in a restraint ...but then WE got attacked by another resident. We went down and I landed straight on my shoulder. MIGHT have a rotator cuff problem...don't know. But I'm off work for at least a week until we know more.

Havin a BAD week folks. Need some pats on the back...

Here is a link to the LEFTOVERS of the once pretty town of Greensburg.
The tornado itself was 1.7 miles wide at its base!!!!!
Its a catagory EF-5...simply because there doesn't exist a LARGER rating to give it.

    Sad..

Brother John, I've been seeing this on the news and the devestation out there looks, for lack of a better word, thorough. I'm glad that your people made it through okay.

Although I don't know you personally, I've read a lot of your posts in the different threads here, and you seem like a genuinely good guy. I know that God doesn't give us more than we can handle, so all that you are going through right now will eventually pass. So hang in there and keep doing your thing, and I pray for nothing but the best for you.

Bro J, consider yourself patted. I've seen tornadoes and I've seen what they can do- but I can only immagine what one that size must be like. Hang in there, bud.

    Damn! Those pictures were apocolyptic!

I'm glad you and yours are okay. Judging from those pix it's a miracle. That's one thing you can be thankful for.

I hope you don't have any real damage to that shoulder and I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts. Pat on the back coming your way.

Hang in there, brother. This too shall pass.
