I got a 6' Oak Bo. I'm pretty excited about that.
I'll be on the look out for Bo material.

It's Christmas morning......what's your favorite gift?
(Other than the joy of spending time with family, etc. I'm talking materialistic stuff. lol.)
My dear husband got me an embroidered gi with our new school name and all the appropriate patches. And a Journey book (can you believe I didn't have one?)
Those were two of the best I didn't surprise him with anything apparently. He guessed --- booger.

We don't open our present til around 6pm tonight, when my niece and nephew arrive, but I know I am getting a new DVD burner, that allows for any input, so in my experimentation I will burn me doing Sakugawa No Kon, a very old Bo Kata, and post it for you Michael. And if this new toy works as well and I hope it does I will be able to burnthe entire seminar I taught on this form, and segment it so that I can email it in snippets.

My instructor got me an embroidered jacket and my wife and son got me an Ipod
I got some very cool gifts. A DVD recorder that also has a VCR built in for fast and easy dubbing. Meatloaf's newest CD, Bat out of Hell 3 the Beast is Loose, and I am loving every song, my new signature is the title of one of the songs from it. My niece and nephew got me Jeff Foxworthy's More Words You Thought You Knew The Meaning Of or Redneck Dictionary II, so maybe I'll be able to understand some of our southern members. My ex even called to see how I was doing, it was one yr ago today that I was told she wanted a divorce. Plus I got a ton of gift certificates from Tim Hortons, other restaurants, and grocery stores, i feel like I made out like a bandit. It was a very good Christmas with teh family, the meal was awesome and I am so glad to be hope though.
Quality outweighs quantity every time.
I got a lovely 320 GB HD for my computer and a digital video camera.......oh yeah, now i can film myself trying to practice kempo and post it on the web.
I also received a cool tool for resurfacing damaged DVD's and CD's (dang kids) which I happen to have a lot of.
A big man-sized griddle for making the family breakfast (yummy), a new coffee maker (yummier), and to top off the madness, a cappucino machine (wow!).

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I got some cool stuff:
A 3 Disc Johnny Cash box set with a pretty rare DVD from San Quentin
About 6-7 books, half martial arts the other half Poker. No Descartes, maybe next year.
A flask with the name of my favorite band and their logo on it that reads "En Tequila Es Verdad" which means, in tequila is truth. LOL
My favorite is a new wedding band. My original which is awesome is a $10 silver band from a few years ago, the new one is also silver
Cheers!
The above is just my opinion.
The other cool thing I got is a headphone/microphone thingy to talk through the computer. The problem is that I don't have anyone to talk to on messenger right now.
I might see if I can use it to record audio versions of stuff like kicking set and maybe the katas. That way, I can remember them better (I can't remember kicking set to save my life.) and my students can use them too.
Oh, and I got a trash compactor. If you've ever had one, you know how great they are and if you haven't, then you'll think it's a weird thing to get excited over. I've wanted one for years and my hubby finally broke down and got us one. (He's never had one before) They're really great. And I'm wearing a Speakman t-shirt. Can't really have too many karate t-shirts.
Such a great Christmas!
If anyone wants to chat through messenger, let me know.

I got a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. jacket. (I'm a big fan of Nascar), and a CD (nice one) for my truck. I already have the speakers, just gotta build some custom boxes for them. That ought to keep me busy for a while.
But, the coolest thing ever was what happened to my kids. Our family tradition is always to open on Christmas eve. So, we were opening the presents and was sitting there playing a game when I heard a truck outside. I told one of the kids to see who was here, and they said nobody. But, my motion light came on. So, we all opened the door to look again. In front of the door on my front porch was a huge box wraped in christmas paper with a note, "from Santa". By then, the vehicle that I heard was gone, and I have no idea who left the kids the present. I have asked all my friends, and everyone I can thing of and none of them know anything about it. The present was a huge little tikes kitchen set for my girls. They love it. My kids think that Santa couldn't make it down the chimney cause I had a fire burning at the time, so he left it on the front porch.

AZ Angel- That is AWESOME! Truly a Christmas to remember it seems...
Hemi- I gotta get with it on the video games. I do not even know how that works besides I only have a lowly GamecubeI have to play the games on the "easiest" mode and go on the internet to get the cheat codes... While playing "The Matrix" I have it on "easy" and I have all the cheat codes for unlimited ammo, focus, all the weapons plus the "Agents" cannot see me and I still can't finish the thing! I keep falling off the buildings!
I have digressed quite a bit from being a "Zaxxon" Master.
My wife and I are excited because we bought a new Oven and in a couple weeks will be getting a clothes dryer. We have been without one for about a year, hanging clothes on the line and what-not... VERY humbling!
Happy Holidays everyone!

There are some really neat things there. The link is to the English version of this site. If you've got the high speed connection, some of the videos are pretty neat.
