Do you see a lot of posts from me on those other forums?
Well...there ya go.![]()
As I've noticed a lot of people over here that I have seen from other forums, I was wondering. What do you think of this forum compared to others? I won't go on about it as there are plenty of threads already documenting that.

It isn't too often that I post anywhere but here. I do post on another of Bob's sites Nephrites Citadel and very rarely MartialTalk.
Quality outweighs quantity every time.

I have posted once, or twice on one or two other forums.
I got the distinct impression on most other forums, if you weren't with the Status Quo, you would be summarilly tarred & feathered without due process.
This place fit better than my Chuck Norris Kickin' Jeans from the first post.
By and large, a more constructive, open-minded group of folks here, who aren't here with the sole purpose of bashing the noobs repeatedly over breaches in protocol.
However, that may have been your undoin'...as I've been tellin' others about it. Next thing ya know ? You're not gonna be able ta peruse a single thread without havin' ta step over one of those pesky Sam Pai guys.![]()

I post mainly here.
The bulk of my posting is on MartialTalk, Rustaz and Kenpotalk in that order. Mostly administrative posts as lately I have little time for much more.
I also pop in at FMATalk.com on occation. That's about it for me right now....used to be a regular at 20+ sites.

I posted a couple of times on MA but, I really prefer the atmosphere in this forum.

I really prefer the atmosphere in this forum.

Well the obvious difference is that this forum is Kenpo/Kempo
Considering that, this forum is predominately EPAK...
This is the most friendly and respectful site I have ever seen...
Whether those 2 things are connected, I dunno ;P
I have rarely seen an agenda or random attacks here whereas I have seen them on MT.
KT Rocks!
The above is just my opinion.
I used to post on KN, but because of one uneducated, low-class, thoroughly obnoxious and unpleasant...uh....person (I use the term loosely), I stopped posting there. And a second person who is unpleasant under the best of circumstances.
Not to mention that they seem to allow the slamming and slandering of people who don't even post there.
I was told about KT from Billy Lear, who told me about it, then promptly disappeared. But he's back now. (Hi Billy!)
I've only posted on MT to bother or tease a friend or so over there, but otherwise, it should be obvious that I spend waaaay too much time online here posting. It's addictive.

The "Spirit" of the Martial Arts and the proffessd "Brotherhood" it promotes is definately evidenced here on these forums. IMHO, KT sets the standard and is the measuring stick by which I judge all other MA type forums.

I think it's the people and the great Moderators.
I just post here- it's enough. Especially with the MT Post Bots. I signed up over there when the link up was first established, but really havn't visited much and hav not posted. There's plenty here, and a better environment for discussion.

this forum would be a lot better if it didn't quarantine knowledgeable contributors to a walled garden for having a different point of view...
on the other hand, at least the management doesn't delete posts and entire threads as if they never happened.
what could help is a BTDT section (been there, done that) where management can transfer all those dead-horse mutilations, and we would enter at our own risk (or using better judgement, avoid the pain)
"Rust Never Sleeps" - N.Young.
It isn't having a different point of view, its force feeding that point of view in every post and having the "Im better than everyone" attitude.
Being a snotty-know-it-all drives more people away...we kind of like it when people stay
