    Default Fortune Cookie Wisdom

Is there any room today for the fortune cookie wisdom that were once offered up as Pearls of Wisdom. Have we streamlined our training to the point that if we don't give the person every single answer it is not useful to them.

Huh? I think I'm not fully understanding the question.

Can we still use clues to teach in hopes that the student will work hard and discover the lesson or do we have to spoon feed the student every tiny detail.

If I ask how I get more power in my reverse punch, and you give me a zen koan, I'm going to get a little annoyed.

On the other hand, if you watch me throw my reverse punch, and say, "what are the power principles and which one are you missing?" I might forgive you. Admittedly, I'd be happier with, you aren't putting enough backup mass and you need to work on your MoG.
