    Default Kenpo Movies/TV Shows

Sure, we all know Mr. Jeff Speakman is our movie star... but can you think of anyone else? Why do you think there isn't more "Kenpo" in movies or on TV? Chuck got a show and so did Samo Hung. Why not somebody from Kenpo? What's your theory?

That is an interesting question. There definitely should be more American Kenpo in the movies.

That stated, there is a new movie coming out called The Headhunter. Ed Parker is being played by Larry Tatum and Elvis Presley is being played by Peter Dobson. David Stanley is the writer and director of the film.

Larry Tatum, in my opinion, is the best choice for playing Ed Parker because he moves just like him.

Is that like a "made for TV" movie, straight to video, or is it seriously being considered for release in theatres?

I had heard a year of two ago maybe that Speakman had a pilot for a police show on TV but it was scrapped. Shame....

Jeff moves very well. It is no surprise, since he was initially trained by Larry Tatum and got his black belt under him.

    When is that coming out?
