Most days I go through our stretching routine. Not all days but most.

I don't stretch that much, but then again I am naturally flexible.

Same here, but now that I am sparring a lot more I tend to stretch for a good 10-15 min. each day.

I answered this, where did it go.

I try and stretch every day and I'm still the anti-Gumby.

Generally, I practice wrapping each leg around the back of my neck.

I practice walking on the back of my toes, then lift each leg straight into the air parallel with my body, like doing the splits standing up.

I do backwalkovers and sometimes bend my back backwards and peek through between my legs.

....oh, wait, that's Circque Du Soleil, not me.

First I do something to raise my body temp. Like calesthenics or cardio. Then I do static stretching (grab and hold) followed by ballistic stretching (front and side leg lifts) then what is termed "sport specific" which is just running through sets of different kicks and hand isolations common to Kenpo.

Please elaborate what you mean by cold stretching. BTW Congrats on 1500... does that mean we have to get you a case of beer?

Cold stretching is where you just start stretching with out warming up the muscles, It has to be done slowly, and with great care. almost every street altercation happens n a cold muscle state so I tend to do cold stretching if I do any major stretching at all.

I see... thanks. Depending on the instructor depends on our class stretches. I actually do a mixture at home, whatever feels tight, gets stretched.

I do both. I'm also a triathlete so I try and stretch after those workouts as well. I try and do another session at night usually watching tv.
