Go to Centuryma.com or AWMA.com they both has lots of patches for uniforms.

not looking for a "crest" i have gotten mine from martialartsmart.com.. and I think that martialartssupermarket.com has the Ed Parker crest..

I am really just looking for diffrent patches, manly kenpo related ones, but im not just limiting myself to just kenpo patches...

A patch is some thing used to cover a hole. A crest is a small piece of art work that is placed on clothing.

never looked at it that way... when i hear "crest" i think of a bigger "patch" (not to cover a hole) that you put on the left chest side of the uniform.

I bought a crest from Martial Arts Supermarket, for my second gi. It is not an exact match for the original IKKA crest. When I received my crest from them, I noticed there was something different, but couldn't pinpoint what the difference was. Then I compared it to my IKKA crest. Look at the dragon and the circle for the differences.

Ask KenpoTess about the IKKO patch. Some associations designate them for "Members Only." In fact lots of them do. Dennis Conatser is on MartialTalk sometimes and it is his association with Mike and Tess being a member school, so they should know.

    Richard,

I know Professor Conatser has been extremely busy the last year and I can only offer to ask him when I speak to him about the patch for your collection.
Generally the patches are only available to I.K.K.O. members.

I've just embroidered their initials on my Daughters Gi's tho it was the Freebie so is made of Toilet Paper just about ;-) Hard to embroider on without a backer sheet. Was going to put some Native Art on too but will wait a bit till they grow some and maybe make a few levels and maybe reward them with some quality Gi's that I CAN Embroider on.

I have a Brother Embroidery machine, it's a hobby model so only does 4" by 4", you might check local Malls for Embroiderers, most can convert your Art into an Embroidery file and then put it on WHATEVER you want.

I'm going to have to start looking for MA/Kenpo designs now, got TONS of designs but none for MA/Kenpo

    Skennen Peace.

That is Tiger Claw's retail site. They have the new revised IKKA patches.
Just because you do something one way, does not mean that everyone else does it that way, or that it is even the correct way.
