Default Mirror, mirror on the wall...

    I've been going crazy......
...looking for prices and resources for wall mirrors for our school!

Any school owners out there willing to give me some assistance?

How much do they usually cost? Where can I shop prices for them?

    Thanks!

Call your local glass place. they can give yo a line on 4 x 8 sheets of mirror, and they can also do the installation.

We use the 4x8 sheets also. They're certainly not cheap.

I'm sure they probably charge extra for installation. But I can do that myself; I just need the mirrors. I'm so accustomed to doing everything online I didn't think to just call a local glass store. I'll do that. Thanks for the input. I'd still appreciate any web addresses if anybody has one of a place that specializes in gym/MA studio mirrors. THANKS!

Even specialized companies have to go to a glass company to get their mirrors. Trust me on this one have the professionals install them, it is much safer and not that expensive. If you are putting up a sheet and it snaps it can cut a person in half. Let people that are used to handling them do it. I learned the hard way by letting my father try and do mine and lost 2 sheets of mirror at $200 each. Installation for all of them would only have been $200.

If you call someplace and ask for Martial Arts mirrors you may get some strange answers. Ask them for Dance Studio mirrors, or even go visit a local dance studio and ask them where they got theirs.
Just because you do something one way, does not mean that everyone else does it that way, or that it is even the correct way.

The lowest quote I've gotten is $140 a sheet for a 4x8 1/4 inch thick sheet. However, the local Gold's gym has a plexi-glass type of mirror that I believe is cheaper to install and safer as well. Anyone have any info on these???
