    Wow! That's one damned big jellyfish.

    I remember going into the water south of Carmel back in my diving days to discover a swarm of lion's mane jellies that had been blown in by a storm. They only had bells 2-3 feet across. Being a visitor underwater, I don't like having anything bigger than I am in the vicinity.
