    Default ECKS Curriculum

I just went on Steve Arsenault's website today.

I have two questions about the curriculum he has listed:

    (1) Does the ECKS require Striking Set 2 and Stance Set 2? I don't see them listed under the forms/sets section, perhaps just by accident.

    (2) I counted 52 techniques listed from white to black belt. Is this the kids or adult curriculum?

    Thanks,

    Jamie Seabrook

Thats funny, I asked a very simular question early in December

    Hello,

Just a quick question for members of Eastcoast Kenpo Systems, Are the techniques listed on the eckenpo website, the current technique requirements for each corrsponding belt level

If so are they for the childrens ciriculum or adults?

Actually Mr. Arsenault has been quite busy with Association business at lately, and has not even had a chance to join Kenpotalk as of yet. I was away with family matters most of last week.

According to Mr. Arsenault each school in the ECKS has the option to use their own belt charts or the ones he has posted on his website. I do know he is having some technical difficulties with his site, he is learning as he goes so sometimes things are a little slow in being fully updated. Once I have a definitive answer about the curriculum I will post about, but withthe holiday season upon us things are hectic, and there are a thousand other things all buying for our time. I am certain in the New Year Mr. Arsenault will be on the board on a regular basis.

Did you ever get an answer to your question Mr. Seabrook?

I just ran across the website and wondered the same thing.

There are many ECKS mmbes on the site. The original question in tis thread was asked over a year ago and was resolved. The ECKS has 2 curriculums 1 for studnts who want get into the arts and learn some basic self defense, and an instructors curriculum which is the entire EPAK system.
    Quality outweighs quantity every time.
