I did come away with some newfound understandings though.

He's teaching regular classes too, that's just the going rate for private lessons. I've checked it out, and have enjoyed it for the last 8 years.

You were very lucky to have him there for 19 years, and I'm very lucky that he's moved to my coast. He's very confident that he's left his HI school in good hands.
As far as K.I. S. S., that's one of the things I love about the system, especially after coming from a system that has about a zillion answers to a step through right hand punch.

Thanks for setting things straight. One of these days I hope to get to HI to train with his 'local folks'. He doesn't boast, but his pride in you is obvious.
You are correct, Matt, I was very fortunate to have him as my instructor for that long. I hope his current roster of students realize their fortune as well. You are always welcome in our school; it would be our privilege to have you there when you have the chance to stop by. Take care and I hope to meet you in person very soon.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple hours with him today. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's a three hour drive, but it's quite worth it.

I thought the short clip was as good as most other's that I've seen on U tube. Obviously one move does not a system make.
