Is the IKC still a "going" thing???

Is the International Karate Championships in Long-Beach still up and running every summer? I've not heard a thing about it for some while.

Yes the IKC is still around, though not quite the event it used to be. Mr. Trejo has taken the task of rebuilding the event. When I last saw Mr. Trejo at a seminar in Sept. 04 he said that the tournament had about 1400 competitors, which was more than the year before.

I didn't know that the tourney was still being held. I went to one a few years ago and it was pretty interesting. Made for a very long day though.

Maybe I'll see some people KT there this year if I make it.

I think the most active board member with "active" knowledge on this is Bill Lear, maybe he can bring us up to speed on it.....
