Default Saturday Morning Kenpo in Santa Rosa, CA, with Mr. Rich Hale

A small, select, elite few...OK, so that's not really true...anyone is welcome to come by and show up...will be getting together with Mr. Rich Hale at the Seika Ryu dojo in the gawd-awful early morning on Saturday, 22nd, for some insights and explorations into kenpo basics, fundamentals, techniques, and extensions. We only want you there if you're willing to be nice, work hard, and put your heart into getting better. Mostly, anyway.

We're gonna start at 9:00 AM, go for a couple of hours before breaking for lunch and to vacate for a previously scheduled noon function, then return when things have slowed down to go at it for a few more hours. Chances are, there will be mass consumption of food and drink in the evening hours after. Unofficially, of course.

Seika Ryu is located at 3168 Condo Court in Santa Rosa, CA. If you need further info or want to warn us you're coming, best number to reach me at is my cell: 714-335-4885. Or, I can be emailed at drdavecrouchdc@yahoo.com . Due to the highly structured scheduling of the event, costs for participation will undoubtedly be exhorbitant. OK. Mebbe notsomuch. But Rich shouldn't have to buy his own beer after this thing, no?

    See you there...and bring advil,

    Dave

I'm going to be there with bells on.

Dr. Dave, I left you a vm question. Let me know.

Rich and Dave are both always a treat to play with (by play, I mean smack) so if you can make it, please do. I have a 2-hour drive first, so I'll be getting up obnoxiously early it seems.

    Sho' nuff.

Alas, another fabulous kenpo day with Dr. Dave and Rich Hale.

I had a blast, as usual. I began to quickly dread when Rich would ask me to show MY version of a technique first.

It's the feeling like, "Oh, just show me what you want to show me because we both know whatever I'm doing is going to be lacking so let's get it over with.'

    lol

It was great though. I got some great new tweaks and some more concepts to think about. I look forward to the next time.

It's a two hour drive for me to get there, but it's completely worth it.
