    Bob White’s karate Studio is very excited to announce the next seminar in our Chamionship Kenpo series.

    Kickboxing seminar
    One area of focus will be to provide some ideas and guidance in making a transition from free-style sparring (tournament) to more of a full-contact (kickboxing) method

    Mr. Larry Beltramo and Mr. Glenn Haley
    Both of these men are successful full contact fighters and coaches

    How long:
    3 hours.

    Instructor Bios:

    Coach Larry Beltramo - Coach Larry Beltramo is a 7th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate - He began his training in boxing 1975. Began training in Kenpo in 1977 in San Jose, CA. He moved over to Prof. Sepulveda in 1991. Coach Beltramo has competed in full and semi contact karate tournaments internationally. Some of the tournaments he has won are: Hawaii Open, European Open Championships, American Kenpo Karate Championships, European Kenpo Karate Champion (5 time individual and five time team champion) and the West Coast Championships, amongst others. He has trained numerous successful full and semi-contact fighters. His training has been influenced heavily by Prof. Sepulveda and Sigung LaBounty.

    Mr. Haley is currently a 2nd degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate and student of Mr. Sepulveda. He has had a healthy point-fighting career and has competed several times at the International Karate Championships held in Long Beach, CA. Mr. Haley has been actively focusing on kickboxing over the last 7 years under the direction of Mr. Beltramo and Mr. Acosta. He is currently ranked 6th in the world by International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) and has an official fight record of 5-1-1 (w/ 4 KOs) and many full-contact kickboxing bouts under his belt. Some of the most notable fights have included an appearance at the IKF US National Championships in 2003, two separate bouts for the California Lt. Heavyweight Championship title, and an appearance in "Strikeforce" Kickboxing as seen televised on ESPN2.

    This seminar is open to all ranks and affiliations.
