MISSION STATEMENT
“To be in service to the youth of our community and assure that as many children as possible have
the opportunity to experience the unconditional love provided by the Royal Family Kids’ Camp”
Message from the Director
On Sunday March 23, 2014 Bob White’s Karate Studio will proudly host the 9th Annual Bob and Barbara White Invitational Karate Tournament. Once again, all net proceeds from this event will be donated to the Royal Family Kids. The RFK has provided over 25 years of providing a free week of summer camp for children, ages 7 to 11, who have come from group homes and foster homes around the world. All of these children have been removed from their biological due to physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.
Over the past 8 years, the martial arts community has come together to support the BBWI and the RFK in ways we never could have imagined. Our first tournament, in 2006, was held in the parking lot of our studio. It has now grown into an international event with guests and participants from all around the world.
In addition to the actual tournament there have been fundraisers held throughout the years that include bowl-a-thons, golf tournaments, light shows, holiday events, auctions, raffles, kick-a-thons, other tournaments, and seminars featuring some of the top instructors in the world.
Thanks to all this support Bob White’s Karate and all our friends have been able to donate over $400,000 to the RFK and have provided hundreds of abused children the opportunity to receive the greatest gift of all, unconditional love.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to another great year.
For the kids,
Vishal Shukla

Thanks for the support Bob. The Kenpo community has rallied to support this event and together we are doing good things for a bunch of kids who need help.
Every year we get more and more great Kenpoists that join the cause and this year is no different. We have recently received word that long time Kenpoist and First Generation Black Belt Joe Dimmick will be joining us at the banquet and tournament.
I have heard a lot about Mr. Dimmick and look forward to meeting him. Big thanks to Richard Post for helping get Mr. Dimmick on board.
Regards,
Vishal
