I know this forum does not get a ton of activity but I was just curious who frequents this section. The Hawaiian Kempo "umbrella" covers MANY systems so I wanted to get a feel for WHO is in here! LOL
Considering KT is much smaller than MT I am always impressed by the cross-section of the kempo/Kenpo community that is present on kenpotalk!
Anyone?
Bueller?
Anyone?

Oh no! Now I cannot tell everyone in here that I am the Grandmaster of Kara-Ho! LOL
It is great to see you in here Sensei Gene! Your knowledge and experience would be a great asset to KT!
I know you are probably pretty busy on MAP but please do stop in here often- KT is the friendliest martial Arts forum I have come across.
Also, did you see the Professor Chow Memorial info. I posted? Are you going? I am looking forward to it, big time!
Take care and have a great week Sensei!

While I have an Okinawan Kempo background. I have been researching and viewing my Japanese and Hawaiian cousin's. Most recently been viewing the Kajukenbo DVD's of Gary Forbach. I don't have any rank in this art and don't claim any. I do find it interesting and I can see some simliar things in both arts.
Kempojujutsu: It is fascinating how many branches of kempo are out there. Amazing to see how many variations there are and how the location and culture affected each art(s).
Sensei Gene: I really hope to see you in September. It is shaping up to be an amazing time!
