    Default Naihanchi Katas

Who all uses the Naihanchi Katas? What is your favorite of the 3 kata?

I like naihanchi shodan as well.
It contains all of the necessary elements of the series without getting superfluous.

I've got some video of Mr. Oyata of RyuKu kempo doing bunkai of Naihanchi. it's all pressure point strikes and very short "ko" combos. Amazing stuff.

There is a video podcast called Martial Arts Explorer on iTunes. On many of them, the instructor talks about a Nalhanchi form (Nalhanchi Nidan?) and demonstrates applications from the form. The videos seem to be the most well-produced martial arts videos I've seen as a podcast.

I personally like Naihanchi III the best. Great nerve striking, hand and arm traps, and my favorite..neck breaks.
