    Default Remember why...

For those of us in the U.S.A. recieving a 3-day weekend, don't forget why you're getting the holiday.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.

"We cherish too, the Poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies."
    -Moina Michael

Peace, brothers & sisters in arms.

Respect those who have gone by supporting those who are now in harms way.

Honor them by reaffirming our commitment to preserve our nations freedom and sovereignty.

    Salute.

    Please consider a visit to:

    www.AmericaSupportsYou.mil

This is an official U.S. Department of Defense website that was set up for folks to show their thanks to the troops.

On there you will find ways to thank the troops and even a page that links to established organizations that are on the front line helping our troops....from accepting computer donations to just sending on your thanks.

Please take a moment to tell our troops thanks. It will mean a lot to them.

Respect to my brother's and sister's who have served....

I'm curious...how many other combat vets are there on the board? Stand up and be saluted, friends!

I spent a lot of time in Canada when stationed in Montanna. They are some some really great people.
