    Default SGM George Pesare RIP

We all lost another great martial arts legend last night. SGM George Pesare passed away. He will be truly missed by his Kempo/Kenpo Family.
    Rest in Peace

Tradition is not about the preservation of the ashes, but about keeping the flame alive

Just heard the news... I was very fortunate to meet him a few years ago. Such a huge influence on the Kenpo world!

When we were with Christopher Geary I used to get emails from George Pesare about him, or more specifically, about his problems with the Karazenpo guys... When it came to flying off the handle that guy was a regular Chuck Yeager. I bought his "history of Kempo in New England" DVD and it was a great source of information on execution and history of the Shaolin Kempo I was doing at the time. Those guys were bad-asses, training with an intensity you don't often see (outside of competitive gyms). Including footage of forms and techniques and drills.

Oh hey it's available on Amazon!
