Developing enough intensity that you need to have friends to continue. If the hardship is great enough, people learn to go to each other for help.
Laugh and joke in class.
Be there for each other outside of class.
Root for each other at a tournament, and then go out to dinner as a group afterwards.
Acknowledge when one of your classmates shots *HURT*.
Have a BBQ and play football.
Pass around really good (or really bad) martial arts flicks and then rave/moan about it later.
