The Jeff Speakman school in San Antonio...

...is absolutely amazing. The people were all extremely nice and went out of their way to make a couple of outsiders from Arkansas feel welcome. I had the pleasure of being tested with Mr. Speakman being on the panel (got my purple by the way!). The instruction there was amazing as well. Both the adults and the kids were really something to see. The head instructor of that school is Mr. Truitt Wieland, and he is doing an amazing job.

It was an amazing experience and I definitely plan on getting back. Meeting Mr. Speakman was just as amazing, and he's extremely easy to talk to and his seminar was very informative in explaining the reason for the 5.0 system.

I'm a member of a Speakman school in Arkansas, but I don't think I would be wrong by saying if you visit the San Antonio area, you would be welcomed with open arms there. They are really first-rate people and first rate Kenpoists.

Thanks guys, I have a good head start on some of the techniques and the form/sets. I really like the blue belt material for the 5.0 system, especially the techniques. The ground fighting aspect of the system is introduced.
