I am in San Diego, what is your background?
I am trying to find an EPAK or Kajukenbo school in San Diego? There are MANY USSD schools but they are well out of my price-range. Anyone out there willing to take on a private student in exchange for computer work?
Thanks.

I am a Purple Belt in the USSD system. I have also studied Judo, Tang Soo Do (Mu Duk Kwon), and most recently USKKA (from American Kenpo Karate on El Cajon Blvd). I am going to be starting back into Judo through North Island Judo Club (since it's free). Feel free to PM me for more info. Be forewarned, I'm not in the best of shape but I'm trying to change that.
Here are a few american kenpo schools in the San Diego area...

If any of them are near you they would be worth checking out...

KenpoMD, thanks for the lists of schools. I'm sorry that I wasn't more clear in my post. My family recently had some "issues" that caused a loss of money for awhile. Due to this I had to quit the school I was attending, American Kenpo Karate. What I was hoping for was to get a group together that we could all learn from. Even if I am pretty low rank and out of shape, I could be used as a training dummy and pick up what I can from that...LOL.
MJ,
I read in some of your other posts that you are in the Navy and in San Diego. I just transferred from the USS Princeton in April (right before they deployed) and am now stationed at NAVCOMTELSTA SD over on North Island. I retire in less than a year and plan on staying in the area as a GS or contractor with SAIC.

I am in the Navy until Feb then I will be leaving SD. Right now I live in Rancho Bernardo. Right now I don't have any good bodies to use, just my tiny wife. So it might work out to work some Parker stuff.
Moose,
Be very mindful about who you hook up with.

No problem. I misunderstood the question in the original post.
I would look upon your present situation as an opportunity to explore a new martial art. Throw yourself completely into judo (pun intended) for a while and see if you don't learn some good stuff. Somewhere down the road you will likely have a chance to return full-force to kenpo.
You may find, though, that some of your judo classmates share your interest in other martial arts and wouldn't mind practicing kenpo with you on the side. Just a thought...

Thanks KenpoMD. I'm going to be starting up in Judo hopefully after next week. I've kept on practicing everything that I have learned in Kenpo and USSD to help keep me current. I've also went out and started designing my own training gear. I just recently crafted my own bo-staff from an older article in Black Belt Magazine. The Judo club I'm joining is filled with Military folks so I'm sure that all of us have studied various styles due to the constant moving.
Again, thanks to all the great suggestions.
