Default A very neat thing at GOE 2007 is the remembering of the Masters!

A lot of old people here at the GOE 2007.

and a lot of going over fond memories of those that we knew that have already crossed over.

Many good stories being told and retold.

This has been well worth the time, effort and money.

the knowledge being given is also vast.

The "ohana" being shown is of the highest caliber.

    I'm having tremendous fun.

    Hey John ,

hope you took many notes (business) and still photo's along with video of seminar.

A lot of the names mentioned I'm not familiar with they are either post 1980's or midwestrner's or other states.

We are all sorry to hear about Steve Armstrong passing God Be with him.

I had mentioned some names from northern california were any of them there, or heard of there passing here again who they are:

    steve Labounty (hvy wt.)
    ralph castellanos(hvy wt)
    gregg baines (hvy wt.)
    ray klinengberg (lt hvy wt)
    jerry baumgarten (lt hvy wt)
    jim trevino (lt/mid. wt)

These legends again put Kenpo on the map in tournament fighting early 1960's-late 1980's. go to my site "kato" for more on them.

I wish to know if any others in attendance at GOE spoke with any of them or even ever heard of them get back to me.

I went to Dr. La Tourrette's first seminar on Friday and I couldn't believe how aware he was and his speed. he told a black belt to hit him. When the guy cocked his hand Dr. hit him 5 times before he could throw that punch. I've never seen anyone so big, so relaxed and so fast. I still find it hard to believe it. But for an hour he did it again and again to black belts including grand masters. I am so glad that I went and had those opportunities to learn more about kenpo.

    Amazing.

That is a pretty stacked list.

I had the opportunity of competing against Sascha Williams back in 2000 in California. He is a great guy.

What was Keith Hackney like? He is one tough dude.

Also, does anyone have a copy of the complete book set? From what I have heard (if my recollection is correct from an Al Tracy seminar), one-third of it was missing.

The missing sections were included in the new video on dvd. Steve Finn does the instructional part and you should be able to learn it if you are familiar with the previous sections. It can be ordered from Mr Tracy's site.

Both of my seminars were professionally filmed...

...and we did get Al's permission to film his Business Seminar.

We are giving him the rights to his seminar, and we've already finished the Master's for hi.

We have the rights to my two seminars.

The only other person who was smart enough to bring a digital camcorder was Kenpo Pete.

Kenpo Pete filmed other sessions than we filmed.

He is a member here, so you might give him a post.

    The man is brilliant!
And his knowledge of the historical facts is very definite and verifiable.

His martial arts business skills are the best I've seen.

He gave an addition to the telephone pitch that I'd never heard before, and will work real well with the new type of client that is calling.

That alone was worth thousands and thousands of bucks to me.

    Yep.

    I loved his business presentations.
