I recently relocated to Plantation, Florida and I am hoping to study American Kenpo. After having reviewed/searched threads/posts on Kenpotalk.com Mr. Seck's name showed he had also moved to the Plantation area.
I am trying to find out if he is still teaching Kenpo and in the area of Plantation?
I went to his website link and a site comes up stating that he is accepting new students but there is no contact info or address, other than his email (of which I sent an email) but I have not had a reply so I was curious if anyone on this forum would know if Mr. Seck is teaching in Plantation. I am not sure how old the website is.
I am also looking at American Kenpo Institute in Pompano Beach, Florida. The instructor there is Mr. Miller. Would anyone have any info about this Kenpo school too?
I am getting to crunch time to select a school and the closer the better. I am anxious to start a new interest so I am hoping to make some decisions shortly.
Thank you for any info anyone can provide.

I would definately hook up with Mr. Seck. If you look up his posts on here, you'll find he's very knowledgeable and he trains with the best.

Martin has been training "forever", plus he is a great guy.
Definitely give him a call.

Martin doesn't currently have a school open, but he might still want to take you on as a student.
He's gone this weend, I believe, but he'll be back on later today or Monday.
Yes, Martin rocks. No doubt about it.

Yes, Martin Seck is highly recommended! If I had a personal plane, I would spend time with some of the great instructors here on this forum, however, I have a car and it takes too long, lol. (Edit: no, I have a truck!!!)

Mr. Seck, I noticed that you're in the black belt section of Mr. Ronemus' website....Out of sheer and utter curiosity, how did that come about?
Martin Seck (05-21-2007)
Mr. Seck is, from all that I've seen and read, an experienced martial artist with a good reputation and a SOLID grasp of what American Kenpo is about! I think you'd do well to join his school.
The other fellow? I don't know him, know of him or his school.....etc.
But there are several things on his website that throw up some pretty serious red flags for me.
I'd say that Mr. Seck's school would be your BEST bet.
Please let us know how it goes for you once you start.

Basically, I joined the NAKA several years ago and Mr. Ronemus listed me in his association.
There is alot more to it but that is the short versionYou are in good hands with him ... I do write for his newsletter often, let me know what you think of the articles when you read them.

If Martin endorses it you can bet it's good stuff.![]()
I've had the priviledge of training with Mr. Seck a couple of times and IMHO, he is quite skilled and knowledgable. And...he's trained with just about everyone under the sun! LOL ..though you wouldn't know it because Martin is such a modest fellow.![]()
