What are you talking about?
How many of you own a copy of "The Journey" and/or have read any of it?

I should ... but don't, at the moment.
I bought one when it first came out. It is very interesting.
"To hear is to doubt. To see is to be deceived. But to feel is to believe." -- SGM Ed Parker
"Sic vis pacem parabellum - If you want peace, prepare for war." -- "The Punisher"
"Praying Mantis, very good. . . For catching bugs." --Jackie Chan
"A horse stance is great for taking a dump" --Jet Li
I don't have a copy of this, but if I did, I would read it. I'll have to put it on my wish list.

I haven't read it yet, but I would like to. Where can I get one?

Hands on Healer
"If you can not be King be a healer."
"The hands of the King are the hands of a healer"
Of course, and nobody elses hands have ever touched my copy.
Quality outweighs quantity every time.
Sure do.
It's on my Amazon wish list. Hoping to get it this holiday.
"Fear is the true opiate of combat."
It's been on my wish list for awhile now.
Yes, and I have.
Enjoyed it immensely.

I'll make a hint for it for Christmas. I suppose every good kenpoist should have one.
Where can one be purchased so I can make a proper hint?

Love it! I really like it a lot for it's historical value (giving the experiences of those who came through the Kenpo system). Reading it motivates me with my own journey. Mr. Ed Parker Jr. gave a seminar at my studio. I bought a copy for $30 and had him sign it. It would be nice for a follow up "Journey" of other Kenpo Seniors to be made someday.

Studying martial arts is for life, not for the color of the belt.
I know the IKCA website sells it, and both Chuck Sullivan and Vic LeRoux wil sign it for you if you ask them, and it will be a lot less than $70.00

Amy,
I was lucky enough to get this book soon after it came out. I think Mr. Bleecker has recently put a few up for sale again on his website at the original price of about $34.00 with shipping and California tax.

I read it pretty much straight through in about 3 days when I got it.
Anyone interested in the Journey may also be interested in this video I did years before. Mr. Duffy used to sell them together but I'm not sure on the availability of that bundle now. Contact him if you are interested in the VHS and to see if he has put that combination bundle back together.

Yes, I know the website says Sold Out but email Mr. Duffy if you are curious.
I highly reccomend the Journey and I'm fond of the video too. I co-produced it in 1994.
I don't have a copy of The Journey.
I would like to have a copy but refuse to pay some of the outrageous prices I have seen for it.
