i was in class thursday and working techniques with one of the white belts. and he was my body for Locking Horns.. he didn't really let go of the headlock when i gave him a cup check (i was gentle lol) and the handsword to the knee.. and for some reason i just automatically went into Dance of Death.. that was fun and supprising..
anyone else, especially ppl who are still fairly new (iv been in Kenpo for about a year and a half) do unexpected (to them) stuff like that? gives you a sense of "hey, its working, im getting this"

I like to go from the extension of Leaping Crane straight into Leap of Death.
Not as amusing, but still fun. At camp, Mike Lambert showed us five swords to bow of compulsion. That was cool. I did that in class and the students really enjoyed it.
