    Default Funny/Embarrassing Story

At camp, I was working out with another black belt and we were working on 'Circles of Protection'.

As you know, this technique involves a right groin grab with a left backknuckle to the head.

This is the embarrassing part. My partner did the technique on me and got a little carried away with the groin grab.

Let's just say that he got me by the short hairs....and then some.

I guess you could say that it made the technique more effective because it absolutely knocked me off my feet.

He was absolutely mortified. I thought it was pretty funny, but I let him stew in his embarrassment anyway. In all my years of martial arts, that's the first time I've ever had that happen. Most people stop the grab at the gi.

I am reminded of the answer to the question ... "What make Kenpo work?"

"Realistic Position and Reaction" is one answer.

    That is really funny!!!!

    Does he post here? LOL.

    Here is my story.

In a rush for class I pull my GI out of the dryer and head to the studio as fast as possible. I change into my GI and get in to class just in time for it to start. I line up with everyone else and start going through the warm up.

As soon as we start throwing front kicks a pair of my wife's silk panties comes flying out of the bottom of my GI. Needless to say I didn't live that one down for a looooooong time.

I wasn't there to see it but I heard about this incident.

It absolutely must work on women as well.

For it to work THAT way, they need to actually be 'women' and not just 'females'. The younger of the gender doesn't have the necessary short hairs to grab.

Tons of pics, yes, but no video. I just couldn't handle both. I need to find a place to post them. There are about 600 of them. I'm editing them all first so there's less garbage and the lighting is better. I've got about a fifth of them done.

Any suggestions for a place to upload the lot?

Seems like the right reaction or intended body movement was evoked. Now the yanking of short hairs may been inappropriate, but the stories are just to funny to recount later...

I would say that yes, my body did respond appropriately. ahem. cough.

It was pretty darn funny though. If I had announced it at the time, that would've been funny too. Only he and I knew about it. Too funny.
