Default Moving to Canada (Please help!)

Hi! So I finally have everything ready to start college in Ottawa, ON Canada, except one thing, I can't find any Kenpo Dojos!

It's driving me crazy! At first I didn't even pay attention to this when choosing what city I would study in Canada, but now I am really starting to get worried.

Plase help me! Any websites, e-mails, names, anything you can give me that can lead to information on Kenpo in Ottawa would be helpful. Thanks!

And there are tons of MA schools, but as you can see none are really Kenpo. There's a Kenpo-jutsu, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

    London,Ontario

    Canada N6H-5N5

    And

    J.A.K.S.

    Mr. Jason Arnold

    38048 Longhurst Line

    St.Thomas Ontario

    Canada N5P-3T2

    519-631-8090

    Hope that helps a little.......

Yeah, they are about 7 hrs from Ottawa, not sure if there's any around Ottawa. I think there's a Kenpo school in Quebec under the WKKA.

True. A Kenpo school in London is pretty much useless to me.

I e-mailed both schools you gave me, waiting for a response. Thank you very much!

I had some former students go to school in Ottawa and their ar no Kenpo schools there. Just a lot of tournament schools, and very traditional okinawan schools.

there is a school in Montreal however that is not as close as it sounds. Yannick GRENNON, who is with the WKKA, is the owner/instructor.

One of my students moved from London, Ontario to Ottawa several years ago. He couldn't find any Kenpo but he went to train at Steve "Nasty" Anderson's school in Kanata. If sparring is something you would like to get REALLY good at, his school has my recommendation.

Yeah, about 2.30hrs from Ottawa. I know a Sensei from Venezuela that's also in Montreal.

    Thanks anyways.

Great! Thank you so much for this information! If there isn't a Kenpo school in Ottawa then a good sparring school is the next way to go. I would just try to keep practicing Kenpo at home.

I couldn't find his address anywhere, not here

    http://www.ottawakarate.com/index.html

    or anywhere.

I wish I would have chosen a college in London, ON so I could go to a Kenpo school. It just didn't cross my mind that there wouldn't be any Kenpo in Ottawa.
