    Drills are very helpful. Plyometric training is also helpful.
    I would say the most over looked aspect of gaining hand speed is relaxing when executing..
    Stay relaxed and hit that heavy bag!

    Do not tense up until the moment of impact.

    Repitition, hard work, and lots of good practice. Be honest to yourself and practice all out when practicing.
    Quality outweighs quantity every time.
