I'm an instructor, but also a student. Since I barely know anything compared to all that there is to know, then I sure better be a student or I'm missing the boat.

I am both an instructor and student at Joe Palanzo's Kenpo Karate. I have been teaching there for about 5 years now and have been taking lessons from both Mr. Joe and Mr. Bob Sparando. I have been teaching for about 7 years all together.

Me? I expect to know everything there is to know about everything by next week. I'm almost there now. Just a few more days and my education of the world and universe will be complete and I will be all-knowing, all-seeing and all-doing.

    It'll be allll me.

Just a few more days. That's all I need.

Lemme see... I used to run a school full-time but now I just show up whenever I can and teach as directed-

Since I am at the Kara-Ho HQ I am pretty far down the latter in rank and seniority, which means during class I help out wherever I can. My training is "after hours" with my teacher 4th Dan, then every other Friday night we have BB class with GM Kuoha when he is home-

I fit in every category but owner-

    Cheers!
The above is just my opinion.

    Instructor.

I thought about opening my own school for years and had several people encourage me; but, I don't know if I could handle the whinny parents around here full time.

I'm the head teacher of my school. I used to use the term instructor but an "old-timer" in martial arts gave me a talk on the difference between one who instructs others and one who teaches others. I fit into the "one who teaches others" category.

    With respect,
    John

Okay, we all agree that we're all endless, eternal, forever students of the art. I think we can take that as a given. (Except for me and Celtic Crippler. He and I are almost all-knowing. He's only a few hours away and I'm a few days beyod that.)

I don't think that was the question.
