    Default Who is your competition?

What other styles are there in your area that compete with your school, and are there other kenpo schools in yor area as well.
    Quality outweighs quantity every time.

A few kenpo schools within 10-20 miles, TKD every other block of course, a small kung fu school (We have Wing Chun too), Aikido/Judo, a shotokan dojo.

The nearest Kenpo school is 70+ miles up the road in Atlanta.

We're the only Kenpo school in town. There's about a million TKD schools though. Multiple ATA, USTA, a guy named Ahn who claims in the yellow pages to be the father of TKD...no kidding. There's a "fight club" at the Golds Gym (buncha UFC wannabees, but mostly roided out fight freaks) There's a Shorin Ryu in Forsyth (between here and Atlanta) and supposedly a Shotokan school, but I sat and watched them one day and I don't know what the heck they were doing...but it wasn't karate...looked more like Tae-Bo.

I could just send gimp in to wipe them all out. She's been out of class for about a week and could use a warm up.

London, Ontario has more schools, I believe, per capita, than anywhere else in Canada. It doesn't effect my school much. In fact, it sometimes helps it.

Interestingly, there is not a lot of EPAK in Canada, but there is tons in London.

We even have one guy in London who claims he can knock people out from a distance away without even touching them. "Use the force Luke. Let go, Luke", LOL.

There's a plethora of tkd, one that took over our old studio after we moved out.. called
The Art of Jong Hap Mu Sool

The meaning of the words "Jong Hap Mu Sool" is "combining all martial arts.

    *rolling eyes here*
they have the windows and doors papered so nobody can see in~!!

There's Chinese Kempo 30 miles away and they're pretty good. With
a few other obscure schools teaching .. whatever comes to them in their sleep methinks

The small town I live in was about 5,000 people but the town has grown pretty fast I think around 8k people now. In this small town we have 3 TKD schools and I made the mistake of calling one before I found a Kenpo school close enough to join. Now that school still calls me every so often to see if I want to come and try a free intro class.
